My everyday A-bike journeys

Postby Amuro Lee on Thu Mar 08, 2007 9:44 pm

I ride my A-bike travlling from the MTR Wanchai Station to my office near by the Queen Elizabeth Stadium and travlling back when I'm off duty everyday. :)

Wow, that's busy streets to use an A-Bike in, and even more so on the pavement

I see your office is very near the South Pacific Hotel that I usually stay in, hehe.

Riding a bicycle on pavements is illegal in Hong Kong, so I have to share the road with other "big" vehicles.
Yes, my office is very near to the South Pacific Hotel. Perhaps we met each other before but we don't know. :P

In Switzerland

Postby fcolaco on Thu Apr 26, 2007 3:21 pm

It's illegal on sidewalk here in Switzerland (Geneva) too but most bikers use it once in a while. I didn't yet since my home-work-home is mostly in bike or shared lanes and I just hop out of it a few meters before the office entry and start re-folding it while walking (sidewalk). Getting kind of second-nature now to do this "ritual". It's a glass building so people in the 1st floor do the "what's that thing" kind of look.

By the way I just dedicated an A-Bike category on my blog and I am going to have more videos/photos/comments there soon. Check the link on my signature.
