Trialling an A-Bike

Postby Tux on Fri Sep 08, 2006 2:32 pm

Hi All,

This is my first post, so a big hello to everyone.

One question I do have is where can I go and ride one? Seen the videos elsewhere on this site and it looks pretty cool, certainly get you noticed.

Hi Les, welcome to the forum!

You can try the A-Bike at the distributors office in Acton. It's right by North Acton station, so very easy to find. They're very nice and helpful people there.

Also you could try one in Selfridges (near to Bond Street), and weave in and out of the TVs and Hifi like I did

Would it not have been better for Sinclair research and Mayhem UK Ltd. had other outlets where more people could see and try the bikes? Halfords, Asda, Tesco, Argos, Marks and Spencer or even normal bike shops! You see not everyone in the UK is or likely to be in London, let alone to try an A-Bike.
If more people had access to the bikes them just maybe the clones would not have had a chance to get a hold in the market place.
What do you think?

Mucklegipe.
Glass half full or half empty?

What! You have a glass?
