I mean i bought my A-bike in England, not the electric one of course. Anyway, i think is a grey area when HK government says all electric bikes banned in the area. If the HK government bother to listen to its people's needs, they would offer more bike lanes by now, cut down on those lunatics mini bus drivers running wild on the roads, and there are far too many buses, coaches, taxis everywhere. In this concrete jungle city where there are too much traffics, pollutions, this government do nothing to combat the problems instead tell people to avoid riding bikes on the roads, how's that gonna help people who want to do something for the environment. So many people ride theirs on pavement 'cos its too dangerous "as they say". I see Lots of cyclists breaking all the bike rules all the time everyday everywhere, adding me to the equation does not make a bit different. They just have to catch me if they see me with one of those electrics converted bike 'cos i'm not waiting forever for those loud mouth/no actions legislators to pass on a new bill to allow electric bikes 'cos i know it would never happens.
