Hi everyone, I’m currently exploring post graduate training programs in the healthcare and medical field, and I’d really appreciate hearing about your personal experiences. With so many options—FCPS, MD/MS, fellowships, and other clinical training pathways—it’s tough to decide which programs offer the best mix of hands-on experience, mentorship, research opportunities, and career growth. I’m especially interested in programs in Pakistan and nearby regions, such as those offered at NIBD, Aga Khan University Hospital, Shaukat Khanum, and similar institutions, but it’s hard to know what to expect without real feedback. If you’ve completed or are currently enrolled in a post graduate training program, how was the application process, workload, exam preparation, and overall environment? Any recommendations on choosing the right specialty, preparing for entrance requirements, or managing clinical duties along with learning would be incredibly helpful.
