Another method of installing real lights on A-bike

When you install a conventional tail light on the A-bike, you'll find that the light interfere with the folding. So you have to twist the light to the opposite side before folding the bike and twist it back after unfolding the bike. This additional step makes some people feel inconvenient.

Someone in Hong Kong has installed real lights on his A-bike by inserting LEDs directly into the back of the saddle which prevent the real lights from affecting the folding mechanism.

Sorry! I forgot to mention that the saddle is not the original one. The user didn't want to drill holes on his original saddle, so he used an imitation instead. Moreover, the imitation is wider than the original one that he could install 3 LEDs on both sides. Only 2 LEDs could be installed on both sides if he used the original saddle.

I like the smaller seat, I find it more comfortable than the copys larger one.

I wonder if Sinclair will bring out lights that fit the A-Bike. I think they should!

Hell they may even get the people who have got fake bikes buying them as well as us!

The fake / copy seats are softer as well, well mine is!

I think that would be wonderful if Sinclair started selling A-bike lights as optional accessories on their website. I have been riding my A-bike home in the dark recently, and it has gotten me kind of nervous.

That is really a fantastic idea about sticking the lights in the seat. I might have to try that. Are they bright enough/big enough, though, to alert a car driving up behind you? Do they have any problems with their shirt or coat covering up the lights?

I too would like to see them offer an official made to fit light for the a-bike. I'll have to dig around google or my local bike store. Some of the options i"ve seen people cum up with in the forums here arent too bad. I might just settle for a light the clips to my backpack or shirt/jacket in the end.
