My A-bike broke !

Hi,

I bought my a-bike a couple of weeks ago on eBay. After using it for a week, since I started to be confident with it, I 'kind of' jumped a pavement. When I landed, the plastic part below the saddle just broke (see attached photo). I weigh just 74 kg, though !

Any idea where I could get a spare part at minimal cost (I am based in France)?

According to the photo, I think the "A-bike" which you bought is a fake.
Furthermore, it is not recommended to use an A-bike, even a real one, to jump a pavement.

I also broke this part after I had been using the bike for a whole year and I weigh 115kg

Sorry to here about the broken frame. Try e-mailing the a-bike site about replacement parts that can bought and mailed out to you to repair your bike. Try going to this site, http://www.a-bike.co.uk/store/store_homepage.php. You should see if replacement parts can be bought.Good luck in getting it up and running again.

If it is a fake model, I have seen a e-bay site that sold replacement parts for these as as well. I have to look to see if the site is still up and running.
