First day Riding experience

Postby jojo351 on Thu Jan 22, 2009 11:55 am

OH......i start to think i am really short of exercise.....

MY arms, legs are pretty Sour!

Tyres pressure are 95 psi. ...and I am 75 KG including everything.

Still wont go fast....it is ok on flat and smooth surface.

Here, in the uk, there is not much absolutely "perfect road"

I swear at some moments I do think does the Chinese 8-inches" Abike" performs faster?

hi - i'm in the UK too and have just found out about these bikes. i am thinking of getting one just for going to the gym and stuff (around 3-4 miles of travel) instead of driving...

how are you finding it still? what do you use it for?

A-bike is designed for mix-mode journeys which are combined by public transport and cycling. It is not very suitable for relatively long-distance rides, I think.

Hi,
after 2 Years of wait I´ve purchased a second-hand but merely used A-Bike. After three test-rides I´m still very enthuastic about it. Sure it´s a pain to ride uphill and on graveled and bumpy streets, but it´s such a cool feeling to ride this sophisticated device.
I use it every sunny day to get an hour off the office, riding it over the fields and enjoying the nearby nature. 45 Minutes are long enough to get aware of all those little muscles you never feel the rest of the day.

I´ve also once had the "Pleasure" to test a fake-bike and there is only one thing to say about this: it sucked in each and every aspect. So aside of ethic and legal issues: get the original and have fun.
