A-BIKE LONDON MEETING 2008 - SIGN UP HERE NOW!

After the great success of last year's London A-Bike meeting, we are planning to do something similar this summer.

It will probably be on a Sunday in July or August. Please let us have your suggestions for activities.

Is there any bicycle rider's event (such as bicycle races) in July or August?
If we use the event, our meeting will be more interesting

Yep, I'm definitely up for another A-bike day in London. I can make any Saturday in July or August (except the Bank holiday) at moment - just decide on a day and I shall be there.
As an idea, it would be good if we could tie the day in to be as close to the launch of the A-bike plus as possible - if Mayhem would be prepared to "sponsor" the A-bike day again perhaps we could have some of the new A-bike plus' available to test ride and try and drum-up some public interest. Other than that, I don't have much idea about what we should do on the day, the picnic in the park seemed quite successful last year.

Great idea! Any time would probably be absolutely fine, and I echo Timbo's further thoughts & remarks.
I am considering an A-bike plus (Amanzhol can inherit my overhauled original - rear tube/layshaft/chains); I must get around to speaking to Keith at Mayhem.
I would still like to get hold of a Brompton & a recumbent trike as well, though!

I contacted Mayhem UK and they will be joining us (hopefully with Plus). At this moment, it most likely will be early August, but please bear with me till everything get settled.

Any updates?

I am possibly going to be in London some time in August for a day or two. I am flexible with the dates for the most part -- either I will pick up an original/used A-bike, or upon launch of the Plus I'd possibly grab one. If Mayhem have the Plus available for an early-August gathering, that would be brilliant.

Sorry no news yet, but hopefully we'll be able to arrange something to fit in with the A-Bike Plus launch!
