Cellphones and Portable Bicycles

Postby gganio on Tue Jan 19, 2010 8:44 pm

I normally ride to work with a normal bicycle.
When I commute with the portable bike, it is to get on the subway/bus and read (and write) an e-book off a cellphone. Hence, portable bicycles and cellphones sometimes do connect each others, other then that spam that we got here on the forum.
It is now time for me to change of cellphone, however those spam didn't help at all. I can not imagine what would happen to the one that does answer to them saying "I want that cellphone at that strange price..." .

I agree that these two items work well together. The world is one wired place now. In saying this, these spam ads are still too much. I would like to see some talk on the section relating non-bike about how different types of phones compare based on real life use.

By the way how is everyones A-bikes holding up. Here in Canada, winter is making impossible at times to ride any bike. The A-bike with it's small wheels make using it that much worse. I had to move and for a short time the A-bike became a nice speaker stand. A table replaced it!

I tried contacting one of the suppliers on Ailibaba about replacement spare parts for a A-bike or one of its copy versions but got nowhere. I just got a listing about how to buy complete bikes and specs.

I have been riding my A-Bike about 4 times a week in the park. About 6 km. Weather is great out here in Singapore. Bought a wireless speedometer from eBay. Should arrive anytime now. Once fitted I'll know distance clocked.

I agree it is difficult to get spare part. The Pacific Carryme bike (8") tire will fit the A-Bike. If you are thinking to changing your tires to pneumatic ones, you can try.
