Pre- A-bike Design

Post by Stevbike on Wed Oct 10, 2012 4:26 pm

One of the reasons I bought A-Bike design was of this 1919 compact city designed by Charles Haskell Clark. I found out about while looking up bicycle design history. I was doing a series of drawings and liked this design a lot. It was designed some of the features the A-Bike uses. It does not fold up and the wheel base is shorter but the base design of a carry on bike to public transportation is shared still. It would interesting to see if one of these still exist and could be set beside it new counteparts like the A-Bike to see how the idea of have evolved over time. :D
