The bad quality of the fakes kind of taint or spill over to the original ones.

It's almost I would wish the fakers made a better bike which would inspire A-bike to make an even better product.

Flamingo/Merc makes Brompton like bikes that some say is almost as good at half the price?

But if what i think is right, it maybe not a good news. The fake bikes produced are in the market. If price keep going down, it would harm the sales of real A-Bike heavily.

that sounds more plausible then. It is new cause it is not used. Not new in the sense of never sold before to a customer.

That's a 2nd hand. I believe that many people bought A-Bikes before they were sure they like it (no matter real or fake). So they sell them even though the bikes are very new. After some months / years, the price decreases.

Maybe they sell out their last copies cause they know that the market is beginning to know how bad quality they copies have. I don't think this is
the original? Do they claim it is the original?
