But see it from the practical side. Suppose you live in Boston USA and you live in the suburb with the Train Company that even forbid Brompton and all other very small folders. Then maybe this kind of innocent looking things behind you would go without notice cause it is acceptable to them and they maybe never get that it is a bike.

A Brompton in a bag still say Brompton and that they recognize.

I don't know maybe this fails too. An A-bike in its bag within rugsack maybe slip by their pondering eyes. Crazy they have such strict rules. So no wonder that some try to fill a niche. They know about such laws where they live.

Here in the UK some train companies no longer transport conventional bicycles, but as far as I know folding bikes in bags are classed as luggage so will be let on the train. Bikes used to be put in the guards van along with other bulky items.

bleh.. I wouldn't want one.

I agree completely! It looks so unattractive and bulky. I think it is a good idea, but they need to make it a lot smaller. I like the one Amuro posted a lot better. I would consider something more like that, if it was about as small as an A-bike, but fit inside a hard shell like that for protection as well as keeping everything stable while transporting it (no handlebars flopping around or pedals rotating on you).

I keep thinking, for some reason, the one you posted looks like it is from the 80s. I think it just reminds me too much of how computers looked back then.

And a youtube graphic animation showing how to unfold and fold it in to the case. Look impressive. what does it cost?
